In addition to fabricating new systems, Danser’s customers rely on skilled maintenance and repairs to help prevent equipment breakdown and to refurbish current systems. Preventative maintenance and repair work can be one of the biggest cost savings for customers, as it extends the life of equipment and prevents costly downtime.
Danser crews are experienced in safe and efficient repairs, whether a scheduled shutdown, preventative work or an emergency.
Typical plant maintenance and repair work includes:
- Equipment servicing
- Baghouse inspections
- Pollution control equipment repair
- Duct replacement
- Duct repair
- Stack repair
- Oven and furnace rebuild
- Burner changeout
- Welding services
- Damper repair
- Burner work
- Other troubleshooting
“When customers come to us with maintenance and repair issues, we take the extra time to not only identify the cause of the issue but also to explore whether we can improve the longevity of the system,” said Tim Buckley, Danser Plant Superintendent. “Customers often lean on us for experience and expertise. They know we will provide a solution they can depend on.”
One such project was for an oil processor in North Carolina. Danser retrofitted the customer’s incinerator stack with Vacuduct® vacuum-formed ceramic-fiber insulation to withstand the corrosive exhaust gases. To further improve the system, Danser added an additional 12ft to reduce condensation by increasing the dwell time.
“Your guys are always a pleasure to have onsite and helping us with projects that otherwise we would struggle with,” said one plant manager.
The Danser team takes pride in taking a step further, asking the right questions, anticipating needs and ultimately improving systems, not just repairing them.
